Today’s hitchhiking learning:

Use public transport to get to the best spot to hitchhike out of the city. Or to get through a city.

Today’s hitchhike:

Oslo - Gothenburg, 300km, 1 hop, several buses

It all started with a nice breakfast at the central bank. Some girl in a bakery was preparing me to slices of bread.

Then I went to the spot where I was dropped off, when I was arriving in Oslo, thinking it would be the best place to get back. Turns out it wasn’t, but the right one was just a bus-ride away.

Here I met Thim, who was coming from Bergen, where he got his tattoo finished, that now covers his left leg.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go towards Stockholm or back to wards Denmark, and since he drove towards Gothenburg I guess I’m heading back home without detour.

I asked him to drop me of a little outside the city because I thought I could easier catch a ride around the city from there. Dumbest decision of the day.

The rest of the day I was fixing the consequences of that decision and ended up with a camp fire next to a lake in the middle of the woods.

Cannot complain. Toasting some bread, than going to bed.
