I learned early as a child, that I could only depend on myself. Those that were supposed to protect me, teach me, never had the strength to do it. I was in control of whether I made it. I never sought pity, special favours, or help. Now, I’ve got one person I trust, and six that depend on me. I’m back on the circle, right where I should be.
