Lot's of people don't want any responsibilities these days.
That being said, custodial services cansbe a good thing for many older people for example. They way he said it is el wacko, but not entirely wrong.
Agreed. There is a real market demand for custodial services. They just need to be better than what we have so far (centralized exchanges, or absolute ripoffs like what this guy is describing - no insurance or bank in the world charges 5% of your principal to keep a key, or 10 bucks a month like Ledger wants).

Should have included the ten seconds before where Hotep mentioned “people don’t want responsibility. With bitcoin, it’s all on you baby” and then proceeded to defy the entire purpose.

People want to preserve and save wealth, but too many people are not technologically responsible enough to hold keys. Generations of people who do not take responsibility for good security hygiene.
