I don’t get the bug thing.
Like, I’m a vegan and have never once considered the eating bugs. Is this really a fascination from the “global elite”? I just don’t get the purpose/need? Is this just an internet thing? 😂

people been eating bugs around the world for a long time. my homie in college showed me how him and his family eat crickets (chapulines)

Insects are am incredibly efficient protein source in terms of protein grams / resources expended to be fair
What about the occasional spider whilst sleeping or fly when cycling in the countryside?? 😂
they say producing meat causes climate change, and eating bugs is a solution to it
the evidence that the sun and the galaxy control 99% of the drivers of weather is overwhelming at this point
as the current transition point continues and the galactic magnetic sheet flips to a new phase in the next 20 years the actual outcome is potentially a glaciation, or at least a long, cold period of high cloud cover and rainfall that lasts more than 1000 years (that's what happened last time at this point in the cycle, 12000 years ago, kicking off the Dryas period, the so-called "ice age" of mammoths and sabre tooth tigers
and the protein in bugs is built on a type of sugar backbone that feeds cancer
and these vegans are the victims of the last guerilla marketing campaign to demonise animal fats so they could sell industrial rapeseed and sunflower oil manufactured with lighter fluid and pressed at absurdly high temperatures which is contributing in a big way to carbohydrate metabolic disorders and cancer
of course vegans are the last people who are gonna examine the facts of where their diet choice comes from
the animal liberation terrorist movement were also fostered by big chem/agra to help grease the skids to market GMO soy as the new staple protein
and its oil is also bad like all the others, on top of the fact that most of the soy that vegans have been eating for the last 30 years has been laced with glyphosate, which is now officially carcinogenic
as someone reaching the age where all these things compounded to disease i am absolutely apalled at the bullshit coming from the mouths of these young dupes
This is a plate I ate in Zambia where many have no other options. If more of us could get over our mental shit about "eating bugs," the protein alone could end world hunger. But that's still only one superficial variable in a large, complex issue that is more about distribution of food (and wealth) than just growing it per se. (And bug biomass is dropping dangerously apparently.) Really not bad salted.
