I understand that growth has been terrible for a few years now and barely goes up
Price is not everything; Bitcoin is stronger than ever. Hopefully, it will take a while before the price rises (which is inevitably going to happen) so that I can buy more.
Price is absolutely meaningless because fiat is meaningless as long as an infinite money printer exists.
In the real world, they only accept fiat so you are incorrect

Your premise of why he's incorrect is flawed.
Would you spend 1btc on a car?
Or would you finance that same amount so you don't have to sell your asset?
Even if hyperbitcoinization was well underway, it would certainly be kept a closely guarded secret by the media and fiat elite that control them.
The Fiat masters will likely never acknowledge defeat. It is up to us all to simply chose a #bitcoin standard for ourselves or not.
I’d recommend to stop waiting for some future state that may never happen. Just start living on a Bitcoin standard now. I and many others are proof that no one can stop you from doing so. Bitcoin works great as it is.
