I bet 15 years after the wheel was invented there weren’t people running around scamming each other with different shaped wheels claiming that a triangle or octagon shaped wheel was better.

I wonder if there were people running around freaking out about why the wheel hadn't fixed every social problem yet or why everyone hadn't already reoriented their entire lives around it.
