Any ideas why a transaction is stuck in the mempool for ~ 9 hours and ETA constantly shows several hours (or more)?

You’ve set a fee of 5.82 and recent blocks have fees of 7sat/vB or higher
I meant 6sat/vB or higher. So other transactions with higher fees are processed before yours
Is it possible that someone set the fee this low on purpose? That’s a transaction to an escrow (p2p exchange)

Don’t know, but it will take approx 2 weeks before it will be deleted from the mempool if the fees haven’t been lower by then. Had it myself once as well

Wonder what happens if the buyer misses the deposit window?
Don’t they first have to deposit (with confirmation) to the escrow before they can actually put up the offer?
Did you already pay the fiat?

Hmm, not sure about this but I think the deposit window starts when there’s enough confirmations required by the contract.
No fiat was sent so far.
Fee is too low, wants to be about double to clear quickly.
It’s up for purge at that fee rate.
