I mostly know him as a brilliant cricketer from my Australian point of view, synonymous with Pakistan. Played 2 seasons with a bunch of Pakistanis and he was an idol to them, national hero type guy.

Turned that into a political career and was voted PM. Dubious exit recently which is speculated to have had US involvement but I don’t know enough about that.
