I've seen a lot of side hustles and mini apps. Is there anyone here living fully on Nostr generated income, zaps or sales?? If there is, I want to know how to do it! 😆

My impression is that this is not the case. Most who earn enough, they do by the grants. Otherwise its not yet sustainable.
But I hope someone tells me he makes a living in a different way.
What I can imagine is, that you sell some things, and you sell also on nostr too. But you collect customers elsewhere.
Probably not, pioneer something 🫡
i think i have been living on a nostr standard since this is where I network with others to get my keep. But I’m in a third world 🇰🇪 country so what ever i make one couldn’t live off anywhere else 🤷♂️ so there’s that too ! So far so good though 👌🏾
That’s cool! What’s your v4v??
Can relate, I’m in 🇿🇦 so maybe 2nd world 😅
Some times it's bounties. Sometimes it's PRs getting merged on GitHub. web dev and android apps.

🤣🤣🤣 Sorry my friend but I just spent 12 full months working 8 hours a day, or 2,900 hours, to earn barely two months' salary. So technically, I'm 10 months in the red.
None of the apps I’ve built have made any meaningful amount of money
Instead they created an opportunity for me to eventually get recognized by other developers who do work full time on Bitcoin and Nostr and I was fortunate enough to be invited onto their teams to work with them
While this work doesn’t support me entirely (I still have another full time job outside of Bitcoin and Nostr), it has given me enough to support my wife and family as a sole provider for which I’m forever grateful
My advice based on my experience is to continue building and keep learning
Build the things you want
I wanted GIFs so I made gifbuddy, I didn’t like other meme tools so I made memeamigo, I wanted a workflow to create webapps so I made PocketVibe
These are things that interested me, challenged me, and grew my skill set
There are no guarantees, but if you build there’s a chance
If you stop building, there is no chance

No lo creo, nadie vive de nostr, si mantenerse humilde y apilar sats pero no alcanza para vivir de nostr
