I would advise any person new to Linux try popos, Ubuntu or mint at first. Though they aren't the most hardcore, they are a DEFINITE improvement over ios or windows. 80-90% is better than 100% that is hard to use.
For people new to Linux: install something easy to understand and use, then upgrade after that.
