+1 this has bothered me for sometime now.
I self host most things but it’s still a major weak spot.
Its amazing how innovators like Helium and IoT spend big chunks of their websites talking about how much they love Big Brother and all the location tracking they can do.
Luckily the underlying technology is widely proliferated and usable by #reticulum and #meshtastic

Beacuse you can not simply connect to internet. You need to connect to someone’s infrastructure. There is no plug you and I can just connect to unless we build our own infrastructure
I believe Estonia has included internet access as basic human right into its constitution
