Especially after the Trump psyop I realise why the 10 commandmends list 'Thou shall not have a God above me' (the state) and 'Thou shall not worship false idols' (politicians) above the prohibition to steal and kill.
Because worshipping politicians or the state (voting, endorsing, ect) makes you complicit of murder and theft on industrial scale.
When I was young I always thought that God was jealous or arrogant, because I thought he was worried that you care about someone else more than him.
But now it all makes sense
(I'm not even a Christian, but I do think there is a lot of wisdom in all the holy books)
If you vote you worship, because you authorize a man to have superhuman God-like power (kill, steal, kidnap) for 4 years.
You can't logically say that someone is just a man, while you believe you can authorize him to play God by deciding who is allowed to live.
The act of voting is inherently an act of worshipping
