If we're talking about inalienable rights, both statements are completely false.

Why do so many freedom lovers not understand this???

Inalienable rights cannot be "taken away", just like no one can steal the color of my eyes.

Inalienable rights cannot be given.

Inalienable rights cannot be taken away.

Anyone that states otherwise has no understanding of what inalienable rights are.
