I agree it's not really an appropriate place for kids, but I don't like the transparent "think of the children" red herring. It should be the responsibility of parents to set boundaries and determine what their kids are allowed access to. And I'm all for giving them tools to effectively do that, but I vehemently oppose any efforts to obliterate privacy in service to some grand, misguided scheme to systemically force the identification of all users. Which I believe is their actual agenda.
