Dude is funny.

Imagine somebody finds him in real life before he finds all of us and takes down all the relays 🤔😂 #plebchain

Makes me think though if some kind of P2P layer on top of the relays would make sense where relays talk to each other to exchange data. I'd image relays subscribing to each other to receive and mirror certain notes/updates.

I just think what he says is a false statement from the very beginning. Nobody has ever claimed Nostr is private and everything we say here is extremely private. Idk where he saw claims like that but I haven’t seen a single Nostr dev saying something like that. The core property of Nostr has always been its censorship resistance. You have to physically shut down a large fraction of relays spread all over the world to disturb the network.

The privacy will come later. There’s talks going on between Nostr and SimpleX devs to integrate their encryption protocol as Nostr DMs.

Also not censorship resistant. The stores of media files are centralized, so the owner can delete the as he or she wants. It would be better using the IPFS or someting like that (I've posted about this earlier)

So Nostr is not private and not censorship resistant.

Media files will be gone, but the notes will remain 🤷🏻‍♂️
