Even when we make it to a bitcoin standard, people will still resent it just like people resent money today. Greed will still exist and people will still worship it and put it ahead of the truly meaningful things in life. It will just be more fair system, but vice will still remain. When bitcoin wins, I for one will do my best to be charitable and prioritize my relationships and well being, not the endless pursuit of accumulating more bitcoin.

People are going to be people.

The big draw of a Bitcoin standard is that it won’t compel bad behavior (or short term behavior) en masse because of currency debasement.

It’s not a cure all but could also curb some forms of moral hazard (bail outs with created money)

Not a cure-all but at least we have one less massive system overhead.

It will be a much fairer system filled with untainted positive incentive structures, hopefully resulting in less crime, etc.

I do think there will be large wealth transfer and I plan on being a beneficiary of that transfer, so guess my point is more of a self note to live with integrity and be humble if/when that occurs.
