> The job market for real coders is only going to grow because of all the ai slop code being produced.

People keep saying this and I honestly think its hopium. Think about it, you have a company, and now, you only need 1/10 of your dev team because every dev got a 10x boost. The best stay, the rest will have to go flip burgers for a bit.

How could it be hopium when I'm not a coder?

It's purely based on my experience trying to vibe code.

The slop I made with AI wasn't even worth paying someone to fix.

Every day we see new apps put out that don't even work because they are written by AI.

The people pumping out the AI slop will need help to make it actually work for its intended purpose.

One day I'm sure the ai will actually be intelligent, when it becomes organic and has the ability to actually think. Sure.

Until then AI is just a retarded digital parrot that can copy things humans tell it to.

Nobody who's paying coders to fix AI slop has a dev team either by the way.

It's just some idiot with an idea telling the ai what to do.

Then employing real coders to fix the mistakes.
