I remember really enjoying Maui (Hana). We were lucky to have the black sand and the red sand beaches all to ourselves and it’s a time I will never forget.

I suppose that would impact how I perceived the place - people or no people.

Haleakala National Park was also a stunning hike. You literally walk in the clouds in a landscape that resembles Mars. And of course, the sunset is to die for.

But there are different beautiful definition I guess. The Grand Canyon is beautiful in many other ways.
