I'm regularly in a position where I'm expected to provide advice and guidance for younger blokes who are sometimes struggling. It's an opportunity to provide the guidance I wish I'd had.

Here's what I'd suggest;

Listen to us older men, by all means, but don't take our words as gospel. You haven't seen how many times we've fucked up and had to pick ourselves back up. You haven't seen the amount of times we've got it wrong before getting where we are.

Use our stories as a general reference point, but think for yourself and make your own decisions.

Try to be better than we were.

No pressure.
