i kinda wanna be involved if there is drama, interesting drama

i mean drama as in: stuff of life

i have some adjacent things to share

re: thoughtleaders as an absolute outsider, idk if relevant, but worth my time to upload to me just in case

How the 'Epstein Class' Fails to the Top | The Chris Hedges Report (w/ Anand Giridharadas)

description: "Anand Giridharadas explains how the elite continuously find ways to screw you, with either good or cynical intentions."

clip features mention of the difference between thought leaders and intellectuals, also public works

what im not implying by sharing: that there is anything wrong or anti-intellectual about contradicting yourself or doing a 180 on your thoughts.

what i am inferring they mean: a thought leader is driven by 'the bag' as in, there is no logic to follow, no way to naturally understand the change, it is just politically or socially expedient.

in simplicity: thought leader as an opportunist who shifts with the wind

vs intellectual who is coming from a school of thought and tradition and is obligated to contribute to, pay back, live up to, mentors and those who came before, as in: to build upon in a good way, knowing you stand on giants

*also and finally* a share is not an endorsement, i haven't read this guy's book, i dont know him, and i didnt love what he was saying right after this clip, honestly dont love a lot of the tone of even the actual clip.

point being: i dont have to. to find something worthwhile.
