If you can find a regenerative ranch - and there are a lot of them! - it's also pretty much the best way of eating to actually support the environment.

Cattle who move from paddock to paddock improve the quality of soils, increasing microbial life and water retention, decreasing erosion. Over time, most regenerative farms see an increase not just in microbial and fungal biodiversity but also in native wildlife.

(Also those small farms usually have 1/4, 1/2 or whole cows available. Pair up with a few neighbors and you'll have some of the most delicious, nutrient-dense food on the planet for a fraction of what you would usually spend on groceries.)
