I still find Substack Notes a bit problematic. same content moderation requirements as Twitter, just at a smaller scale.

I haven’t used Notes yet and I’m still not sure how successful it will be. If I could pay to access articles via a Lightning paywall I’d definitely use that, though I think they’d be reluctant to implement it as recurring subscriptions are likely more profitable
