Had a friend who met the CEO at Pacific Bitcoin and was not impressed
I wanted badly to like it, but it’s just a bad product. Nostr going mainstream just makes it die faster.
I don't wish them ill, but I just tried the new app. Couldn't get through new user onboarding without hitting generic errors, ultimately "failed to create account". Not looking good.
Honestly I had NO IDEA what it even was or was supposed to be.
but to my dumb frog brain.. .me thinks it's dead.
unless it's SUUUPER normie friendly.... but even then normies don't care about decentralization, identity issues, data scraping, etc.
I just tried Zion. Its nothing compared to NOSTR. 🤩
