learning guitar has been a nice diversion from simply coding 24/7 . code may be slightly slower tho i apologize. got the chords down to stairway to heaven intro! new respect for guitarists. this ain’t easy.

In CornyChat talking to a couple of npubs about guitar tab events on Nostr.
One user created this years ago for fetching and transposing them:
Future is bright ⚡
One suggestion to help the progression (no pun intended): same about of time each day, however short, is much more beneficial than doing long practice session once or twice a week.
Have fun!
songstrr and YouTube have been great
https://www.songsterr.com Got excited and thought i would have yet another cool nostr thing to play with.

Having different creative avenues is a good thing. No apologies needed.
I don't think the code will be slower. Some time away from the screen might actually help you focus and prioritise, to see the forest for the trees so to speak. At least it does for me. Tho I need to continually remind myself of that, heh.
That’s amazing! Learning new things and finding hobbies you enjoy can help with productivity. It allows you to refresh mentally and increases creativity.
Kudos to you... tried to zap you... no wallet? STH is my favorite song of all time... lots of other over the top awesome songs, but that one means the most to me.
my zaps are taking a break today
But then you start learning scales and are reminded of the similarities of those and the ASCII 7-bit character set and suddenly worlds converge. 🤣
i watched a video on the pentatonic but was very confused
Learn diatonic chords (chords built from a scale) and you can play about ¾ of all songs. Learning songs by ear is hugely benefitial as well!
It gets easier over time i assure you
learning an instrument will help you be a better coder in the long term
likely staves off the dementia too, so you can code for longer
