Sofia, Bulgaria 2024 was my first bitcoin conference, I made some friends there and really enjoyed the trip. They are incredibly welcoming and made sure us foreigners had a good time and got to experience the country as much as possible. Search “Rila Monastery” if you want your mind blown, that was one place we visited. Secondly as a storyteller I’ve always been looking for the story that hasn’t been told that I believe can have tremendous impact. This is it. There’s so much to see do and learn in Bulgaria and there haven’t been any documentaries made about bitcoin adoption there. So yeah basically those two reasons.
