Yep, gaming is really the only place I see any difficulty , and I don't game much. And hell, most modern games have figured out it makes sense to add Linux builds.

Even with games, it's stupid easy with Lutris and even easier with Steam + Proton. Gaming on Linux has come a long way since the early days with the contributions of Valve. It's only games made between 2007-2012 that I have had issues running if their isn't a install script. Most popular games are catalogued and have an install script so it's pretty point and click. Graphics drives aren't an issue anymore either as Mint pre-installs the Nvidia stuff and with the recent open sourcing Nouveau should get better.
