Imagine this:

You have a relay on your phone, with read access limited by thumbprint or password, that stores the notes from your private chats.

You have a relay on your company laptop, with your local copies of the documents you work on, and they auto-fetch every 5 minutes and indicate any changes your colleagues made, that have been pushed to the department relay. But you can ignore that and just focus on your local files.

Your boss has access to your depf. relay and to the one for the personnel department and to the one for his second department in Paris.

You also have access to the Inhouse Design Team relay, whose members are spread out all over the company's international offices.

These relays are all authorized and/or behind a VPN, and function as part of the intranet. Your company also has an Internet relay, with their marketing blog, support ticket webform, and the sales website.

Your Design Team calendar, your dept. chat, your documents, your to-do list and kanban board, your eBooks, your code, your media, your UML diagrams, your LLM... is all searched for and found through the relay.

It serves your files up.

No, Nostr is not the new Twitter.

Fuck Twitter.

Let's go after

And then we go after Google.

Then SAP.

Then Meta.

Then...

No one messes with you when you have poop on a stick 🦯

SAP? Oh shit, I am the enemy 😳

I just interviewed for a position doing SAP migrations. 😅

Then let’s call ourselves “advanced observers” walking among the enemy 👀

ERP? but nostr is for public data

And Meta

#Nostr eats everything. Seriously, I wonder if its radical simplicity and permissionless operation are enough to change the world.

nostr:npub1s3ht77dq4zqnya8vjun5jp3p44pr794ru36d0ltxu65chljw8xjqd975wz has been heading this way, from the beginning, and I have the PR to prove it.

Unfortunately, it went nowhere fast, because "Nobody has heard of this... Sharepoint... you speak of." 🤔

We're apparently the only team containing people who have ever used Microsoft 365 or GoogleDocs. 😂

I like Google Drive for its simplicity. I am still grokking the significance of what you are doing, but so far, I am very intrigued.

Radical simplicity and seamless UX sounds like a normie catcher.

Only Time will tell

Already has nostr:npub1qyxlpj2gl6dt2nfvkl4yyrl6pr2hjkycrdh2dr5r42n7ktwn7pdqrdmu7u nostr:npub1gwac0cnpv6kpud92qexz60474x0mwvk2ut35wt6acc5azykvnjuqne97aw nostr:npub1lnms53w04qt742qnhxag5d6awy7nz6055flnmjkr6jg39hm86dlq7arrnt nostr:npub1h7ywzm2h7svy7ajlwnrnxfsja88fr72z056tyjqd0mfjn9kzpdgqn32nr7

Everyone here is to help one another on their individual journeys and goals

That’s the beauty of Nostr

Give respect and receive it back

But take not a single word from anyone to be the truth. Cause humanity is flawed

@Disney ima calling you on this

Yeah. I like this vision a heck of a lot.

I see you, bro. We see the same future.

I wouldn’t have one on my corporate laptop. The mofo sounds like an A380 at takeoff at the best of times

😂

Okay, but imagine you didn't need lots of the programs you now use. Like, maybe, Teams and Sharepoint and OneDrive, and Outlook.

If I did that I’d be retired

😂

NGL my node on a Pi underneath my TV right now is pretty quiet

My new laptop is nearly silent.

As was mine before the spyware. What OS

Debian 12 bookworm

Wait is this even possible now?

We're strolling toward that, from about 15 different projects.

That is quite something.

You were not bullish enough. 😁

Add native internet payments, too ... hard to not see this working

Wow. Reads like a futuristic space novel.

The distant future or 2030. Whichever comes first.

Relays are permissionless Communities with interoperability and monetization built in.

That means that you don't have a company relay, the relay IS the company.

The company is the npubs on the relay.

A company is, by definition, a collection of human persons and legal entities that follow a common purpose.

The relay is where they company _is_.

Fighting the Goliath that is Microsoft 365… a worthy quest indeed.

I don't like to pick on someone my own size.

That is where my thinking is going. Relays are resources.

Network resources, yes, and there are different kinds of relays for different kinds of networks, and you can access then all from the same client.
