Personally the lossless 'master' sound is my reason
In theory I very much resonate (got it?) with that. But in practice I’m afraid I don’t have the kind of ear that would denote the difference, as compared with, say, Spotify
Spotify is also rumored to soon have a higher quality tier, but that rumor is around for some time now. I had the bluetooth headphones and the phone telling me while connecting that they both support aptx higher quality audio 😅 so I felt like I had to change.
Tidal.com is one of the companies owned by #[2] and the mp3 player got integrated in many nostr clients quite nicely.
Jack is supporting Nostr devs, especially #[3] financially, but to my knowledge publicly never pushed devs to integrated Tidal?
As entrepreneur I admire Jack since the early podcasting breakthrough Odeo. I wish, I could join #Nostrica and have the chance to chat with him.
I think, his 🐦 co-founder @ev did not make the switch to Nostr yet?

I use Tidal because it has HiFI audio and integrates with my DJ controller.
