what’s a lurker?
Someone who never posts anything just follows and reads. No active engagement. Seems like nostr can grow on two ways.
Get new npubs
Get more engagement from existing npubs
Maybe we can do more of to push the latter

I had a related idea. There are a lot of bitcoin, rich people who are funding various projects in bitcoin, including fancy things like an entire building in the Presidio and stuff like that. What would happen if all of that funding just instead went to more or less randomly zapping people who contribute reasonably good content to Noster?

I'm a part time lurker I think now. The first time on Nostr I was very active. Tried to contribute with things I posted for example under the hashtag # uncharted. Was not very interesting as it seems. From time to time I create a meme or post some memes or funny things. But most of the time I'm a lurker now. Most of the time I don't know what to write or how to interact in running discussions. Ofc that's sometimes a little bit sad but as a part time lurker you can learn a lot here on Nostr. I've never used things like Twitter Instagram or bs like this. Nostr is special cause it's a protocol. Nostr is special for me cuz it's the first time I was motivated to lurk around and interact from time to time although atm I'm more a lurker again.
I have a bachelor degree in lurking. Am I part of the group now?
