Hmm, I’m all for stacking sats but I also quite like my wife and I’m not sure she would appreciate shoes in that state. I think it’s fine to own a couple of pairs of quality shoes. Look after them, ware them hard and they will last for years. Trainers are good for sport but generally a good leather boot/shoe is a winner
