I just re-listened to the Podcast S*Town again and I can’t shake the feeling that maybe John B McLemore was a Bitcoiner.

1. He seems to be a genius and math wiz. Someone who could have understood cryptography, early Bitcoin mining, storage, etc.

2. He was an unbanked gold collector. I imagine there were a lot of gold+BTC people in the early to mid-2010s.

3. People said he had a lot of money and gold, but no money or gold was ever discovered after he died. Maybe he sold all his gold in favor of BTC?

4. He lived a meager life, like he might have been BTC rich but just appeared to be broke.

I could be completely off base. But it’s a thought I can’t shake. I wonder if anyone ever searched his computer for a Bitcoin wallet? 🤔
