Can anyone tell me why I regularly get sent 1-sat to my wallet I have connected to Nostr? Is this a normal thing? It kind of weirds me out. Feels like it’s been happening for a couple months.

I just re-listened to the Podcast S*Town again and I can’t shake the feeling that maybe John B McLemore was a Bitcoiner.

1. He seems to be a genius and math wiz. Someone who could have understood cryptography, early Bitcoin mining, storage, etc.

2. He was an unbanked gold collector. I imagine there were a lot of gold+BTC people in the early to mid-2010s.

3. People said he had a lot of money and gold, but no money or gold was ever discovered after he died. Maybe he sold all his gold in favor of BTC?

4. He lived a meager life, like he might have been BTC rich but just appeared to be broke.

I could be completely off base. But it’s a thought I can’t shake. I wonder if anyone ever searched his computer for a Bitcoin wallet? 🤔

I gotta say, #[0]​ has been putting in the work. For 2 years on Clubhouse - and now on Nostr - Neil has been adding so much value to the Bitcoin space.

I remember early Clubhouse when Neil would do Saturday morning Q&A on how to get free Sats via Fold/etc. now he’s on Nostr providing endless Zap memes and pumping up the community.

I’ve been on my Bitcoin journey since 2018, and I’d say Bitcoin-only since 2020.

I’ve learned so much from this community, especially going back to the early days of Clubhouse.

I became a grandpa last year - and my family started calling me “Grandpa Bit” because I talk about Bitcoin with anyone who will listen.
