"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."
“Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.”
Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.”
"I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
It's not about condemnation, but about knowing why it's a good idea to value marriage, and HOW to go about it!
I added these and more scriptures to our book, "How to prepare yourself for marriage", as well as the tools needed to actually have a good and connected marriage, because it requires intentionality, but Hollywood etc. has been teaching us that it's all about "falling" in love.
It's about the little things, it's about sharing all of ones secrets, especially when the other person does something that hurts or is disrespectful etc. But doing it kindly and with the expectation that the other person wants the best for them.
