why y’all hating on sparkling water?

I was in Italy. 100 degree heat. Had been walking for hours, didn’t have water with me. Bought a bottle from a nearby store without paying much attention to what the package said. Took a sip, ready to quench my thirst. Spit it out. The trauma came on strong. It was sparkling water.
i think it really depends on the sparkling water 🤔
there are some really good ones, but i’ve also had some traumas similar to that when playing football as a kid with scorching heat outside… only to be welcomed to the warmest saltiest sparkling water ever, which was horrific.
but i’d still say there are a lot of good ones out there
Just reading that hurt me, so I can only imagine how big of a let down that was.
Hope it was in a glass bottle.
