Why can’t we have signing apps on iOS?

This is how you end up with a second phone.

Why? Couldn’t a client handle logging you into another client? Like I don’t have to type my password into Microsoft, they email me a code to type. Couldn’t the same be done on Nostr in dms?

That's a really good idea. You could even have a remote signing device that hooks into signal or some other messaging protocol that the client supports, to query it whenever you must sign an event.

But Amber doesn't work on iOS? Zapstore?

Nostr.build has this option in their login screen. They DM a code to an npub.

Walled garden. Ditch dictatorship of Apple, embrace the freedom of Graphene!

Maybe if android devices didn’t overheat and they were more durable. I have a pixel with lineage

HTC and other shits overheat but pixels don't.

My Pixel 6 Pro overheats, and every Google device I’ve owned has bricked itself after 2-3 years.

Had a Nexus 5X, problem in the CPU, performance cores shorting. Had to install custom software that disables the affected cores.

Pixel 4XL has a battery connector problem and cannot get power, bricked.

Pixel 6 Pro was horribly designed. The telephoto camera has a different sensor than the main camera, and curved glass was such a weak point that my 6 Pro was the first phone I ever cracked. The Tensor chip overheated horribly on stock firmware and would randomly kill 5G connection. Custom firmware is fun, but I like using Google Pay.

I had Pixel Buds that randomly stopped working after 2 years.

The new Pixels mimic the iPhone by having a flat screen and square edges. I might as well use an iPhone since they are years ahead of the competition, have more reliable software, extremely reliable hardware, and fantastic accessories like the Watch and AirPods Pro. I have an iPhone 4 that still works, and I’m pretty sure it’s jailbroken. I have an iPhone 7 Plus that my little sister was using last year until I bought her a 15 Pro.

Android devices are designed to become obsolete or non-functional within 3 years. Their silicon is slower and less efficient than Apple’s. Their hardware is less reliable. They are objectively worse in every way except the openness of the software. If you don’t fully degoogle, they spy on you more than an iPhone. If you do degoogle, you can’t use Tap to Pay or most banking apps.
