When you make decisions do you weigh out all the pros and cons or just go by gut/intuition? #asknostr
Discussion
Well, that depends on the situation I'd say. If time is on my side, weighing pros/cons definitely is crucial.
Personally I need to do a bit of both, you can't rely completely on gut..there needs to be some logic sprinkled in lol
One must consult the spice melange and see the many futures…
OR
I find that an honest assessment of the totality of pros and cons generally winds up aligned with one’s intuition - assuming, of course, that one is willing the accept the outcome of posing the decision to both rational assessment and intuitive decree.
All of the above.
Both.
But I'm usually happiest with decisions made by gut.
Trust your gut
Weigh the pros and cons carefully for decisions with implications/impacts that cannot be undone/reversed
Gut!
Does this path have a heart? If it does, the path is good; if it doesn't, it is of no use. One makes for a joyful journey. The other will make you curse your life. One makes you strong; the other weakens you.
yes.
Lol.. I worked in life and death most of my time. So I always weigh out the risk and benefits.
Then if I still can't determine which direction to go. I go with experience and my gut instincts. I'm a "first do no harm maximalist".
But in my youth I was a huge risk taker. Typical boy. Barely! survived. My mother recognized this early, and tried to teach me fear. But she gave up in frustration..🧡😊🦍
