Testing a bug with private zaps to individual Lightning nodes.
I’ve had the same issue with zbd.gg LN addresses, so hey nostr:npub1yedm3av5r0lkr8wftmxg0te5k338pqessu7s47nzrp73t6j3qh4schqvk3 or nostr:npub1akngghxzy6d75y8szp6y44u5pxktwy5aj6zh6jl3ncp8d93fj2fq5mfxa8 could one of you drop a reply?

Yes I frequently get a “failed fetching Lightning invoice” error when I try to zap people. It seems to occur when I try to send a private zap to someone’s personal node.
It seems to have worked on your note - but still shows the little “timer” icon so it hasn’t confirmed in Damus yet.
(I’m also doing this directly from a self custodial mobile wallet, not using NWC).
