We run everything on DC even our Starlink as it saves us running the inverter which itself draws around 34watts.

when i did my initial investigation into starlink, i was under the impression the receiver had a constant 116 watt draw. has that improved?

We wired ours and used our own 12v router. The power is around 50-70watts depending upon the weather and how hard it’s having to work to keep a connection.

The router and power supply use way more power than they need to and getting rid of them makes a way more efficient unit. πŸ‘

Nice custom. πŸ‘πŸ”¨

It's 30 watts for me.

Never heard of running on dc tho
