just because one country acts aggressively towards another friendlier country doesnt mean we should perpetuate the war. do what it takes within reason for peace and if russia continues agression then we can proceed from there. no sense going world war 3 over this, unfortunate or not for Ukraine. Zelenske will eventually die, Putin will eventually die, and we will have new leaders making new rules, drawing new lines. lets not cause this to spill the blood thousands or god forbid millions more people.

Yeah… its all easy talk. Imagine your neighbour takes over half your garden, your neighbour from two blocks away tells you to just give it up and also he tells you he will start using your pool. Then some random dude on the internet tells you your gonna die soon anyway, your neighbour is gonna die soon. So give it all up, nothing is gonna happen and at least you will have peace (with a neighbour that has broken 2 treaties in 10 years already). Cool story…
i think their is a bit more to the story than just agrrssion for the sake of a land grab. The west knew that expanding their influence in Ukraine would provoke him. imagine China starts funding Mexicos military and completely influences their government to allign with China. we would probably go fight Mexico. our we bad for trying to keep threats away from our homeland? id say yes, but maybe mexico should not have allowed china to weezle their way in as well.
what is easy talk is saying the guy attacking you is bad
or rather, the easyiest most immediately beneficial statement for the defender, is always, "help, im in danger, the person attacking me is doing so for no reason, i am completely innocent." not saying putin is innocent, just that maybe its not worth going to world war over yet.
