Imagine what is happening with Iran's currency to bitcoin happens to the dollar over the next 10 years. That would be like 855Mil$/bitcoin in 10 years. That's what happens when currencies die.

Can we stop pretending that "custodial wallets" arent just bitcoin banks. No offense meant, but Mallers is your newest bank ceo. Bitcoin banks will be different from banks today, though, there will be no bailout if you fail. Rooting for you, Jack

Left is against it due to surveillance concerns as well. They just think it is the big corporations doing the surveillance and not their beloved socialist government. Just got an earfull about it at family event yesterday πŸ™„ so hard to talk to enraged normies about this stuff lol

The Skeleton crew series is a good watch for bitcoiners. Basically about how those with a money printer unknowingly abuse the rest of the galaxy until they break the money printer and are forced to join the relaity the rest of the galaxy faces lol πŸ˜† its got a goonies meets Starwars vibe, not too bad

Find things your friends/family need and print those. It helps to learn cad and create random useful things you cannot buy. Learn about things you could print for a friends business or job and offer to create and sell to them. Nice gifts are always useful to print. Just try not to print too much useless thingymajigs. I print lots of additional parts for my sons train set and marble maze that will eventually get passed to some other kid.

Being fortunate enough to have these things now is not the same as the security that you will have them in the future. Security is what scares people, knowing they are one economic crisis away from losing everything. This lack of security is what gives people high time preference, not the lack of conveniences.

Since we are getting rid of cents dor the dollar, we can now use 1 Cent is 100 Sats

And gold isnt even the most scarce or most expensive, yet it is still seen as money or at least as a monetary asset. Point is, Network effects are very difficult to overtake. Golds network effect, and perceived monetary value, made it the best metal at being money, even though its not the best metal at much of anything

Gold is not the"best" metal, yet it was the best metal at being money.

Bitcoin is not the "best" blockchain, yet it is the best blockchain at being money.

Another electric car push? or an excuse to drill local oil? I donno, i think they can get away with pretty much anything these days without needed a war to blame it on
