I am all for oil at $500/barrel. Maybe then we’d stop using so damn much.

That's a lot of hungry people. But maybe hitting the main saudi terminal and possibly a couple pipelines around Ghawar would do that
Another electric car push? or an excuse to drill local oil? I donno, i think they can get away with pretty much anything these days without needed a war to blame it on
If Saudi facilities are hit, drilling local anywhere is relatively irrelevant. The supply crunch would be big enough to trigger price discovery of who bids highest on what’s available and who starts seeing food scarcity in the nation. It might also cause some producers to hoard. No winners really when you boil it down
