this DOES NOT change scarcity. there are changes that happen to bitcoin. they are not planted seeds to change scarcity.
Yes it is, it's planted seeds to accept the change and to eventually sneakily change the software to allow more than 21 million Bitcoin
If people stop running nodes, the 21 million cap becomes irrelevant because the only ones that will enforce that are the miners, and miners are not always aligned on what is best for Bitcoin. That’s why the sats vs bits debate is dumb and only serves as distraction to the much more important debate: the OP_RETURN one.
you may be right. I don't even know what the op return debate is but it doesn't sound like there is a pysop to hijack Bitcoin. Just like in the past how Bitcoin cash tired to hijack Bitcoin.
