Worth noting the was entirely safe to use provided none of the samples were removed from their containers. Likely the reason it wasn’t on shelves for long was the fact that it was expensive - the equivalent of 630 dollars in today’s currency.
While our parents got to fondle radioactive material, we just got to eat lead paint.
