Look I’ll be honest. I’ve been a HUGE Nostr hater.

I honestly can’t fucking use this damn app and it makes me feel like an idiot. I have NO IDEA why you guys like it

I follow people that I never end up following, I write messages I can’t see, and the only advice I get is to do a bunch of random technical hoo-ha

But yesterdays Twitter hack was a BIG wake-up call. I got almost no help from centralized Twitter

So I’m going to commit to spending 30 minutes a day to try to figure Nostr out, okay? 🤝

I still use https://iris.to and https://snort.social to compose most of my notes.

You can easily try any client on desktop by setting up browser addon Nos2x that nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 did: https://github.com/fiatjaf/nos2x

On mobile you can also try https://plebstr.com that nostr:npub1atc6zwsr9nnyn0rq72g2qqznr3x4yhm20g50wsexjukygwrg9atqh0lssy done... so far my biggest problem there is lack of mention dropdown when composing messages.
