Boss, should I use my new Coldcard with a passphrase?

I voluntarily chose 24 words to create BIP-85 wallets for the fam later on.

But wondering about the need for a passphrase. What are you thoughts?

Thanks for this amazing product. Feels fast, secure, robust, well done overall.

Will be purchasing more Coldcards as my setup evolves and diversifies.

Btw, what are your thoughts on traveling with a Coldcard? I travel a lot and I think I need to have it handy for transactions. I can always leave the seed in safe place back home. Curious to know if it’s ok to travel with it and your personal opinion as someone that also travels a lot from what I’ve seen.

I don't recommend traveling with cryptographic material. You could be compelled to produce it.

So is it better to have a hot wallet for the travels?

Coldcard (savings account)

Hot wallet (checking account/debt card)

Yeah, segregate things. Maybe one cold. One CC with less for travel. Or maybe a tapsigner with nunchuck for travel.

Oh I love the idea of a tapsigner with nunchuck for traveling and a Coldcard cold safe somewhere.

I also have a Jade btw, would love to bring that into the mix.

What about a Jade connected via Bluetooth with green wallet for travel? And a cold Coldcard safe somewhere?
