I ran word counts on the Bitcoin whitepaper and Mastering Bitcoin.

In the Bitcoin whitepaper, the most-used word is transaction(s) — 69 mentions.

In Mastering Bitcoin, the most-used word is also transaction(s) — 1,534 mentions.

The whitepaper has a dedicated section on transactions, and Mastering Bitcoin has an entire chapter on transactions.

Bitcoin’s core purpose is to record and verify transactions. Without transactions, the network doesn’t really have a use case.

You won’t find chapters dedicated to storing files or images because that isn’t what Bitcoin is designed for.

An app I’m working on that time stamps your runs with block height and stores the run data locally instead of uploading to Strava, Nike, Apple, etc.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a Bitcoiner.

Okay nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqgjwaehxw309ac82unsd3jhqct89ejhxqgnwaehxw309aex2mrp09skymr99ehhyecusqvd6 Hub is pretty great. After losing Mutiny, this is going to fill that void. In some ways, it's what I wish Mutiny had been. Self-hosting Hub on my Start9 so that it's always online and ready to zap, NWC to Amethyst (or via Alby extension on web) and even a mobile wallet via web app. Only thing that might make it better is a mobile app as a front end to Hub. Bravo!

Pwa is pretty sweet
