I struggle to persuade people to use Nostr, and I'm uncertain if we'll ever achieve widespread adoption. Don't know a single real life person in my circle that uses it.

Still pretty early, give it time.
Right now it is mostly sort of a Twitter clone which in my estimation is very much a legacy format left over from a different computing era.
When the masses arrive, they won't know they are using Nostr. It will just be a new page or app they use. The protocol will fade into the background, and Nostr will just be the internet.
Give ‘‘em time, they’ll probably just need a little push from the former 🤷♂️
