Sorry y’all but if you think ordinals are a legitimate attack on Bitcoin’s fungibility you may not have run the numbers yet?

There are 2,100,000,000,000,000 sats in Bitcoin. We are at ~200,000 inscriptions.

Ordinal theory itself has very few sats that are not “ordinary”.

I would hardly consider this an attack on fungibility…

Ordinal theory is one thing. Inscriptions are another one (that uses it). Ordinal theory maps each sat to a S/N (an ordinal). Ofc it is an arbitrary order, but a malicious agent (government) could make use of this. Independent of the number of inscriptions. IMO any attempt or means to differentiate one sat from another one is an attack on bitcoin fungibility.
