Well I respectfully disagree with you and am not going to make a judgment on how scandalous other people may have made it out to be but is the story true and was it newsworthy?

In my opinion it was/is until proven otherwise.

I mean, the Trump White House and Trump Campaign sent takedown requests to Twitter as well. This was apparently intentionally omitted from the reporting in the Twitter Files, but the existence of these requests were admitted under oath in the Congressional hearings and seen as less interesting by Taibbi and apparently others. Also, Twitter did not comply with most of these requests. Which shows me that people here were engaged in a deeply selective exercise in confirmation bias.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure he did mention Trump trying to get some tweets removed, but he didn’t go into the specifics. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe because of a bias or maybe because the greater story was the apparatus which was set up to censor accurate information that didn’t fit the approved messaging in the platforms.

Either way, I still think it’s a news worthy story and I’m glad it was reported on. Everyone can interpret it how they want now that it’s out.

Political agenda or not, my question is was it true? People can make up their own minds about the rest of the stuff.
