first, get your bitcoin off the exchange and onto a hardware wallet

(better would be to do a 2-of-3 or 2-of-2 multisig and physically distribute the wallets so they are not in the same location)

do not keep your backup seeds with your hardware wallet.

if you actually make it physically difficult to access your bitcoin, it adds security.
